2020 is looming. And we’re all thinking about how we can make the most of the last couple of weeks of this year. You’re probably wondering how you can make the most of your time, ensure you deliver on your current KPIs and start strategising for the new year. You’re not alone…
One way to get the creative juices flowing is to attend industry events that spark inspiration. But with so many to choose from – and given how precious your time is with so much happening toward the end of the year – how do you decide which events you should even consider?
Here’s our list of noteworthy HR and Recruitment events taking place in November:
TalentCon – Thursday 7th November, Amsterdam
We hear this is the perfect event for those “making dents in recruitment norms, sparking innovation in their teams, and are on the front line of hiring and inspiring others”. It takes place on the 7th of November in Amsterdam, promising to draw more than 700 HR and recruitment experts. Tapping into the global theme of recruiters as superheroes, the program includes sessions on “unlocking your recruitment super-power”, “10 principles of great candidate experience” and “employer brand by design.” Other themes include the future of HR Tech, building your career as a recruiter, how you can use tech and data to improve hiring and the blend between HR and recruitment.
HR Virtual Summit – Thursday, 14th November, your couch or office
Imagine attending a conference without having to go anywhere. No need to travel to the venue. No need to fuss about what you’re wearing. No last-minute scramble for business cards. That’s what the HR Virtual Summit, hosted by BambooHR and The Predictive Index, is all about. And if that doesn’t sell it, the fact that they have Angela Duckworth as a keynote speaker certainly will. She’ll be covering the ‘Science of Success’, followed by Mike Zani who will be talking about “Talent Optimisation” and Ashton Applewhite, who’s delving into Ageism in the workplace.
With more than 60 speakers, the HR Virtual Summit has 8 content tracks:
- Employee Engagement
- Employee Lifecycle
- Strategic HR
- Leadership
- Inclusion & Belonging
- Best Practices
- Recruitment Performance
- Culture
HR Hackathon – Friday 29th November, Berlin
Normally conferences and events involve networking, attending workshops and listening to speakers, but the HR Hackathon is not exactly normal… Delegates have 48 hours to team up and prototype and build an HR Tech product – just another testament to the continuous trend of HR and Tech coming together. 10 teams of 10 people each get together to develop and improve HR Tech in 2 days.
#truLondon10y – Thursday 7th November, London
Ever been to a recruitment conference where streets artists create a “future of work” installation live? Or where tech teams collaborate on the spot to build an HR Tech product with accessibility and inclusion in mind? What about an industry event that has all of this, plus 100 content tracks and a singer songwriter plus comedian for entertainment? It may sound too good to be true, but it is… After a decade of success #truLondon is hosting the conference of all conferences. And we reckon that not going would genuinely mean missing out.
There’s a lot of action in the HR and Recruitment space. So if we’ve missed a ‘must include’ event, please let us know by commenting below, emailing marketing@passtechnology.com. Or reach out on LinkedIn or Twitter. We’d love to hear from you.
