269 Billion emails were sent in 2017, with the average businessperson receiving 125 emails daily. With so much content hitting your inbox, gauging what to pay attention to can be tricky. That’s why we want to help make sure you get the newsletters you actually want with the content you really can’t miss out on…
Delivered to your inbox every Sunday, Brainfood gives us a weekly round-up of the top HR content, including the inside scoop on great new jobs that have become available and the latest industry happenings. You’ll find heaps of super helpful lists too, like lists of places to post a job (globally), lists of online recruiter communities and lists of women speakers in the recruitment space – and that’s just the start…
2. HR Bartender
We’ve been following HR Bartender for a few years now, and not just because we love the name. It offers a great mix of content and plenty of free resources for when you’re looking for tips and tricks. Not to mention the fact that it covers a library of books on management and leadership skills and development topic – so that you can be on your A-game.
3. Culture Amp – Weekly round up
This is a fairly new one for us. And while we’ve only been subscribed for a few months, the content shared has piqued our interest – which has to be a good thing. A personal highlight from a couple of weeks ago was the great TEDx talk wrap up, 5 TED talks to watch before you give another performance review.
4. Tim Sackett – the Tim Sackett Project
We love Tim’s newsletter and Twitter feed. If you’re looking for helpful and honest content, especially about tech, then Tim has your back. His nifty Talent Acquisition Technology Buyers Guide covering how to select the right vendor to solve recruitment challenges rocks. And his podcast is worth a listen, too. We also particularly enjoyed his article about managing generations in the workplace!
This newsletter covers everything about hiring the best talent and considering the needs of the prospective employee. We loved Talent Acquisition Strategy: Hiring Smarter – an impactful reminder that a talent acquisition strategy is more than just a plan. It’s about a framework that helps you hire smarter.
